why i do this
I got into photography because the moments that matter most usually last about half a second. My job is to be ready for them.
I watch, wait, and capture what is actually happening. You will not feel like you are performing for the camera because I am not asking you to. I am paying attention so you do not have to.
The result is a gallery that looks like your day actually felt. Photos you will want to look at for years, not just post once and forget.
I'm Aeson (pronounced Jason without the J) and I've been photographing weddings for seven years.
I grew up watching my dad document everyday family moments, which taught me that the best photos capture things as they actually were. Not staged, not forced. Just honest.
Before photography I worked as a 3D artist, which shapes how I see framing and light. I am naturally aware of how a scene comes together visually without having to manufacture it.
On your wedding day I blend in and document what is actually happening. I guide lightly when it helps the image, but mostly I am watching and waiting for the half second that tells the real story.
I have two daughters, five and one. I understand how quickly time moves and why these photos matter.

Why I Offer Elopements & Full Day Coverage
The most important moments on a wedding day often are not planned. They happen between the big events. That is why my coverage is not based on strict hourly limits.
I want you to be fully present while I document your day, not just the highlights. You will not need to stress about timing or decide last minute whether to extend coverage.
I am there from beginning to end. That is the kind of care your wedding deserves.
Your wedding day should feel natural, not performed.
We'll connect via phone, video, or in person to talk through your plans and make sure we're a good fit. No pressure to book.
Once you're ready, I'll send a contract and 50% retainer invoice to secure your date. You'll complete a questionnaire to help me understand your day.
We stay in touch throughout your planning. Timeline help, location scouting, answering questions—I'm available as needed.
I arrive ready to document your story from start to finish. You can relax and be present—I'm keeping an eye on the details.
After your wedding, I begin curating and editing your gallery. This is where everything comes together into your final collection.
6-8 weeks later, your complete gallery is ready. Take your time looking through it reliving your day.
(Optional) If you want an album, we'll design it together with up to three rounds of revisions. A physical keepsake for the years ahead.
